Interviewed about why he wanted to climb Everest, famous early Twentieth Century English mountaineer George Mallory replied: “Because it’s there”. He might also have said “because it’s fun”. In both cases, a simple reason for spending time in the mountains, which I’d like to share with you in my offering of mountain climbs, walks, travel and experiences.
