Monte Disgrazia 3678 m, "The Glorious Peak" as the first english conquersts defined it, is a very fine climb in central Alps, accessed from Val Masino.
His regular route is truly elegant and complete, along a small glacier, some short gullies and a mixed climb ridge on solid rock.
The central position of the summit offers one of the most spectacular views of the Masino and Bernina mountains!
1st day: meeting point in Val Masino and by car to Preda Rossa (Val Masino); by walking to rifugio Ponti 2559 m (2 hours)
2nd day: Monte Disgrazia ascent along the NW ridge (the regular route; 4 hours) and return to Preda Rossa.
